Yvonne Mary Bryniarski, nee Voss, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, at the age of 91. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who held strongly to her faith to guide her everyday life. After many years of child-rearing, she transferred her strong work ethic and detailed mind to Cole-Parmer Co. as a scientific equipment sales clerk and then as a sale catalog collaborator.
Yvonne was the only child of Gertrude, nee Gutowski and Casimir Voss, and raised on the northside of Chicago. After graduating from Annunciation Grammar School, she received an academic scholarship to St. Mary’s High School to continue her education under the teaching and guidance of the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM), furthering her Catholic faith and sharp mind. She then sacrificed much to put all seven of her children through Catholic grade school and high school.
She enjoyed craft-making using skills such as knitting, sewing, and needlepoint. She loved antiquing and flea markets with her dear friend Andrea.
She is survived by her children Diane, Louis (Nancy), Marie, Thomas (Deborah), Charlie (Lora), Lenore (Mark) Krukowski, and Peter. She was preceded in death by infant Francis. She was the devoted grandmother of Samantha (Thor), Theresa, Hanna, Kaitlyn (Pedro), Max, Emelye, Jillian, Casey, Austin, Chloe, Charlotte and Audrey.
Services will be at St. Juliana Church, 7201 N. Oketo Ave., Chicago, Illinois on February 21, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9:30am and Funeral Mass at 10:30am. A private interment will take place at a later date at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
